I have very clear and open fallopian tubes. Awwww, how sweet.
It wasn’t that bad during the actual HSG. It was afterwards as I’m hot footing it to the bathroom as the hoover dam has broken and a flood is pouring down my legs. Nasty. Just nasty.
Then the cramping- hello mr. discomfort, nice of you to visit. Advil. Lot’s of it. As a woman who rarely cramps I’ve had more cramping in the last three days than I have in my entire life. Combined. Not fun.
However, it seems that I have a bit of “pooching” at the top of my uterus. Basically it looks like my uterus is a stingray. Dr. didn’t seemed too concerned, said he would look at it more closely with a saline ultrasound. Oh joy, another date with the wand?
(this is my stingray shaped ute)
Oh and it looks like I’m allergic to something in the dye they use. I was waiting for my car (office has valet) and my eye started itching and I got that tickle in my throat and nose. By the time I got home my eye was all swollen- fun. Thank the lord above for Benadryl. Relief and an excuse to sleep all day.
Don’t worry! The saline ultrasound (AKA SIS or SHG) is MUCH easier than the HSG.
Yay for all clear.. oh.. but you have been tagged.. see my blog for details!
