We interrupt scheduled programming to bring you

Progress!!!!!!

Amazingly enough, I have made progress.

Had an RE appointment this afternoon.  Finally got past the initial conversation with an RE.  It’s about time.

Well we did the let’s sit down and chat portion of the visit and then he says he wants to do an exam.  Okay, no problem, I “prepared” myself for such an occurance.  However comma I did not realize that this exam would include not only an endomentrial (I’m sure that is misspelled but I’m too lazy to go find the correct spelling) biopsy but also a date with the condom clad vaginal wand.

Holy mother of god was that uncomfortable.  Little did I know that my left ovary was shy- it took the dr. pressing rather firmly on my abdomen and learning dr. (university practice) manning the wand to find the hiding ovary.  Not a process I want to repeat all that often.  And the biopsy!  Oh the biopsy!  It wasn’t horrible at the time but the cramps I’ve got now are downright unpleasant.  I even went out and bought a heating pad.  Ugh.

Anyways- I’ve got the orders for my blood work on cd 21 and cd3 (when it comes around again) and I’ve got an HSG on Friday morning.

8 in the morning.  I have to be there at 7 in the morning.  In the morning.  And I have to take advil two hours before hand- which means 6 in the morning.  That is really freaking early!

Oh well, hopefully it will be worth it.

Off we go!

About Amanda Broyles

Amanda is amazing. Amanda is spectacular. Amanda is humble. Amanda is also a full time college student so take pity on her and don't complain when her TV reviews aren't up immediately following an episode.
