The feet have healed enough (meaning they’ve stopped bleeding each time fabric comes in contact with them) that I’m going to attempt to walk/jog/trot tomorrow.
After talking with the dude at the shoe store we determined that I’m screwed on fit. Apparently it’s just the way I walk (put another mark in the “just has to do it differently than everyone else” category) which would explain why almost every shoe that isn’t a flip flop or hiking boot/high top has given me blisters.
So I’ve got an insert that will hopefully raise my foot up enough to get past that “break” and I’m going to try moleskin along with two pairs of socks of differing materials.
Hopefully, hopefully this will solve the problem.
Oh and the lab comes home tomorrow. Yea! Even though he won’t ever leave me the hell alone and is constantly attached to my hip- I’ve missed the little bugger.
