Being odd pays off some times.

Now it has just occured to me that posting this will more than likely tempt fate, but oh well.

I am one of the lucky few who have had zero- count them, zero- side effects of clomid (not entirely true- I have had some headaches but it also could be sinuses).

I told my RE’s nurse that when I went in for my ultrasound and she goes “oh so your husband isn’t about to ask what we did with his wife?”

I told her that unless I am just that bitchy on a day to day basis (which, not going to lie, is a possiblity), then there hasn’t been any difference.

But side effects or not- clomid did do it’s job.  At my ultrasound I had two follies at 20 mm.  One on each side.  Because I was still getting stark white OPK’s we decided to go ahead, bite the bullet, and trigger that morning.

So I should hopefully know yes or no in about two weeks.  If I don’t start cycle twenty something by I think the monday after thanksgiving then I go in for a beta and see what it says.

Here’s hoping!

About Amanda Broyles

Amanda is amazing. Amanda is spectacular. Amanda is humble. Amanda is also a full time college student so take pity on her and don't complain when her TV reviews aren't up immediately following an episode.
